Install Adobe Creative Cloud on Windows

Important:  Faculty and Staff can access Adobe Creative Cloud for free on their KU-owned workstation and at home using their KU Online ID and password. 

                   Under the KU licensing agreement with Adobe, faculty and staff can install Creative Cloud on a maximum of two devices.

Please Note: These screenshots are for Windows 7.  The Windows 8 & 10 process is the same.

 

    Purchase Download 

    1. Go to the Adobe Creative Cloud website

    2. Click on "Sign In"

 

   3. Click on Sign in with an Enterprise ID 

 

    4. Enter KU email address (no need to enter password) and click blue "Sign In with an Enterprise ID" button

 

    5. Click on Enterprise ID Company or school account

    6. Enter KU Online ID and password on KU Single Sign-on page

    7. Click on Download Apps

    8. Click "Download" buttons for Creative Cloud and desired programs

 

    Install Download

    1. Navigate to where you downloaded the CreativeCloutSet-Up file. 

    2. Double click CreativeCloudSet-Up to run the installer.

    3. If prompted, select 'Run'


     4. If prompted with a 'User Account Control' box, select 'Yes'


     5. The program will automatically install.  Once the install is finished you should be presented with this screen

     6. If you have an Adobe ID, log in with the email address and password you used when you set up the Adobe ID.  If you do not have an Adobe ID, click the 'Get an Adobe ID' link and supply the necessary information.

     7. Once you have logged in with your Adobe ID, you should be presented a screen like this

     8. To install programs within the Creative Cloud program, make sure you are on the 'Apps' tab at the top of the screen

     9. Scroll to the program you want to install, and click the 'Try' button.  The program will automatically download and install.
